Islamabad, November 28, 2024: Pakistan’s cement exports saw a significant boost in October 2024, increasing by 49.30% compared to the same month last year.
The country’s cement exports for October 2024 reached USD 39.42 million, up from USD 26.41 million in October 2023. This reflects a healthy year-on-year growth.
When compared to September 2024, cement exports also saw a rise of 38.37%, from USD 28.49 million to USD 39.42 million, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
In the first four months of the financial year 2024-25, cement exports grew by 12.39%. From July to October 2024, exports totaled USD 104.62 million, compared to USD 93.09 million during the same period in 2023.
In terms of volume, the quantity of cement exported rose by 18.68%, from 2.41 million metric tons to 2.86 million metric tons.
